Clark County, Nevada recently issued the following announcement.
The Clark County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is soliciting to fill one volunteer position on the Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife. The board vacancy for which this appointment will be made is for a person who represents the interests of the general public of Clark County NRS 501.265(2). The Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife solicits and evaluates local opinion and advises the Nevada Wildlife Commission on matters relating to wildlife. The seven appointed members of this board are selected from individuals who are hunters, trappers, anglers or engaged in ranching or farming in the county, with one of the members representing the interest of the general public of the county. The board receives its mandate from Nevada Revised Statute 501.260. This is a volunteer position with a three year term.
Qualifications, responsibilities and duties of the position are defined in Nevada Revised Statutes 501.260 – 501.325.
Completed applications must be received no later than close of business October 18, 2019. Please be advised that a submitted application is subject to the Nevada Public Records Act, may be provided to the public, and will be circulated as back-up documentation for consideration by the Board of County Commissioners for the appointment to the Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife.
